My friend Blake is just about wrapping up his first year of law school at Depaul. I know he worked really hard all year, even though he says he did not think that law school was all that hard. He did, however, run into a bit of trouble just before his midterms this semester. His girlfriend accidentally spilled coffee all over his laptop. He had all of his notes and papers on his laptop, and he was really freaked out that his laptop was not working. He called up one of those data recovery services, and lucky for Blake, they were able to get all of his notes and papers off of the laptop. He had already contacted all of his professors and classmates letting them know what had happened and asking if any of them would be so kind as to help me him with some of the notes from classes. Lucky for him, he did not have to follow through on those questions. I could not imagine having to try and copy an entire half semester of law school notes. I think that would be a very miserable task. I guess that if that was as bad as his first year got, he is correct in saying that it was not as hard as he thought it would be.
