DOOR TO DOOR SALESMAN
I went on this interview the other day. I thought the job was going to turn out to be great. I just graduated college and am frustrated at the job market right now. I know that the economy is really bad but I am a Top Ten grad with a 4.0 GPA. I settled for going on an interview with an unknown company. The first interview was great. My interviewer and I got along really well and had a lot in common. He said that he went to a top ten, although he didn’t say which one, which I though was odd. He called me later on that night and offered me to come in for a second interview. He told me to wear comfortable shoes because I would be meeting with some of our top clients and walking a lot around the building. I was thinking that this was a great chance at a future in marketing. The next day I went in dressed to impress. Come to find out they wanted me to go door to door selling internet marketing tools. The moment they told me that I was supposed to walk around neighborhoods I gave them a few expletives and walked out. What a waste of my time.
