MEDIA ARTS
My brother, Rob, goes to a school for media arts. He is in the sound engineering department, and one of his best friends is in the film school there. Another good friend of his is in the video game department. He really likes the school, but they are brand new, and often very disorganized. His friend in the video game department, Evan, was telling us the other day about all of the trouble that they have had. I really like Evan, because he overclocked a couple of components on my computer to help me run my design programs better. Anyways, Evan was telling us that aside from the fact that he is basically the school’s web master, because nobody there knows what they are doing, the video game department is struggling. Last summer, when they began accepting people to the school, they promised each student an internship this summer. He said that they just recently told all the video game students that they were not able to help them find any internships, and that they would be on their own to find them. I think that is very unfair to those students that the school would be able to get away with all those unfulfilled promises.
