PLAY EXPERIENCE
When my friend Donna told me that she got Wicked Tickets, I had to relate my experiences at the play with her. She was shocked at the death of the elderly woman and awed that I ended up finding my second grade teacher, Mrs. Murphy at the play. I told her about the liquor store episode and she asked me if Mrs. Murphy was a drunk. I told her that she could have been using the scotch for medicinal purposes. When I got home, my neighbor Paul was at my door. He was looking for his cat. He was drunk again and didn’t even remember me driving him home from the liquor store the day before when I went to get Mrs. Murphy a bottle of scotch. He said the cat must have gotten out when I opened up the door to allow him to stumble in. Of course, it had to be my fault. I went over to his house to look for the cat and she was sitting in the window like normal. Paul tried to get me to have a beer but as it was only 9 a.m., I declined. I went home to do my writing. I work at home but had gone out this morning to get coffee with Donna after dropping off my daughter at school. I settled down and gave Joe a call. I am really looking forward to going out with him this weekend. Tonight is the wake for Mrs. Murphy’s friend so we are going together.
